I’ve been working in corporate compliance for 25 years.

I started working in compliance as an associate attorney for a major law firm in Washington, D.C., and then spent many years serving as in-house compliance counsel for a leading global life sciences company with many challenging compliance issues. My work in-house centered on creating compliance programs from the ground up, tackling various types of regulatory issues, including data privacy, import, export, marketing, and anti-corruption compliance—exactly what many companies need.

Through this experience I developed a detailed understanding of how a business works from the inside, and I draw upon that knowledge to create practical and effective long term solutions. I take a sophisticated but practical approach that is tailored to each client’s needs, whether it be developing compliance policies and procedures, employee ethics programs, transactional due diligence, compliance structures, internal reporting and investigations, compliance communication and training, or assessing and mitigating risks.
